« I have a challenging job, in a positive meaning, which requires the ability to adapt quickly to the client, their industry and their needs at the time. »
A French-Swedish national, Axel was educated in Paris before pursuing his higher education in Montreal (Canada). He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (minors in economics, politics and sociology) and started his professional career as a Customer Success for a Swedish company before joining Scandi Bureau in December 2021.
Why Scandi Bureau?
What I liked when I applied was the link between France and Sweden, and the fact that I could evolve in a company on a human scale while I had just experienced a larger structure with Zettle by Paypal.
I was hired as a project manager and this corresponds well to what I do on a daily basis, managing different projects. My tasks range from technical and commercial support for new companies wishing to set up in France or Scandinavia to support for our existing customers.
When I arrived at Scandi Bureau, the real challenge was there. You have to know how to juggle from one client to another, changing hats very often to answer our clients’ administrative, commercial, technical or marketing questions. But that’s also what makes this job interesting on a daily basis, compared to the repetitive aspects of my previous job.
3 word that define Scandi Bureau?
Adaptability, in line with what I said earlier: customers and their needs will vary during the course of a day.
Service, both in the sense of the services we offer and in the notion of service rendered, the satisfaction of our clients.
Human relations, the importance of human contact within the Scandi Bureau team as well as with the outside world, customers and partners.
Your passions?
Music, listening and playing. I can play drums and I like to sing but I am a self-taught person. I love winter sports, snowboarding and skiing in particular. I like the sea, I have my boat licence since I was 15. I would add cooking, well, I love to eat! 🙂
Your favorite Swedish proverb?
« Borta bra men hemma bäst ».
“Away is good but home is best”.
Swedes love to travel, to go on adventures, but they realise that they are at home in the end. I have had the opportunity to live and travel in different countries, and this proverb actually fits well with all nationalities.
